AnnotationPersonalisation is seen as a key driver in shaping public services in Scotland. Changing Lives, the report of the Scottish review of social work services highlights this and recognises the challenge ahead to design and deliver such support and services. In taking forward its work, the Service Development Change Programme already indicated that the key theme will be that of personalisation: what it is, embedding this principle in practice, looking at approaches to delivery, considering constraints, and contributing to how these might be overcome. This draft paper aims to help establish a shared understanding of what personalisation is about and the issues it raises. (KJ/RH).
