AnnotationThis paper explains how the current Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) service for older people in Coventry meets overall service aims, and presents a summary of the qualitative feedback provided by clients of the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust who have benefited from it. There appears to be limited research on the effectiveness of EMDR specifically with older people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It is hoped that this service evaluation can contribute to this area. (KJ).
