Annotation | This article has been prompted by the sudden popular rise of The Zimmers - who are singing their version of The Who's "My Generation". It takes a lighthearted look at the changing musical tastes that will probably occur in older people's day centres, given that the Baby Boomers were the rock n' roll generation. The important point being made is that staff should not make assumptions about what people will like or dislike, and the value of silence. (KJ/RH). |
