AnnotationAge Concern England (ACE) responds to the Office for Disability Issues (ODI) on issues relating specifically to older people, regarding implementing the Cabinet Office's Life Chances of Disabled People strategy. However measures to achieve equality for disabled people are quantified, those with mental health problems and learning disabilities must be included. Other useful indicators suggested are retirement income; independence and the ability to participate in and contribute to society; and the effects of health inequalities. A full version of this response is available on ACE's website. (RH).
