Annotation"All our futures" is the title given to the strategy for older people in Scotland, published near the end of the former Labour administration's term of office. The five chapters in this volume draw on qualitative and quantitative research and statistical data on some of the key evidence on older people, starting with the demography of Scotland's ageing population. Next, older people's contribution to society as carers, volunteers, learners, workers and consumers, and the opportunities of increased digital inclusion and community participation. Other chapters deal with older working lives, promoting health and well-being; and housing, transport and planning. (RH).
