Annotation"All our futures" is the title given to the strategy for older people in Scotland, published near the end of the former Labour administration's term of office. This full report of the strategy introduces the future challenges for government, the public sector and public services in preparing for an ageing population. It discusses six priority areas for strategic action: improving opportunities and removing barriers; forging links between the generations; improving and maintaining older people's health and wellbeing; care, support, safety and protection; the housing, transport and planning infrastructure; and offering learning opportunities throughout life. Cast studies illustrating examples of existing practice appear throughout. (RH).
