| Annotation | This represents the current statistical data available of services for older people in Wales and is part of the whole publication "Social services statistics in Wales" which is published annually in electronic format (hard copy upon request). The datasets monitor the number of older people (aged over 65) receiving services by each county within Wales and distinguish between those receiving direct community-based services; home care; and those in nursing and residential care homes. From 2002, the Data Unit became responsible for this series and changed the year under review to the fiscal one (March to April).
