| Annotation | Camden launched its quality of life strategy for older people in July 2003 as a model for the development and delivery of community services. Another aspect of the work has been to develop new ways to evaluate the strategy's effectiveness. This document describes this work in connection with the Local Government Chronicle (LGC) Awards for Excellence 2003. A major feature of the strategy has been partnership with a range of local organisations in its implementation, and examples are given. Camden is one of six pathfinder authorities working with the Local Government Association (LGA) on the Quality of Life Strategy evaluation framework; the partnership activity in relation to this work is outlined.
