Annotation	Bupa Care Homes have been blindfolding their staff and putting them in wheelchairs to give them an insight in clients' needs. This training initiative, Personal Best, has won the group's 295 care homes the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) People Management Award. Training sessions have focused on employees' own experiences of good and bad customer services; and involving all staff - not just care workers - in training programmes has been key. (RH).
