AnnotationThis leaflet distributed via Help the Aged explains what is involved with digital switchover which begins in 2008 and ends in 2012 and involves television services in the UK being converted to a digital service. The analogue signal will be switched off region by region and from 2012 all television sets must be converted to digital. There is a digital switchover Help Scheme for all those aged 75 years or over, or have a significant disability, or are registered blind or registered partially sighted.
