AnnotationPsychosocial interventions (PSI) for older people with mental health difficulties have not been adequately researched, nor have they received emphasis in national policy. The background to this situation is explored in this paper, and strategy for local implementation is presented that includes training, PSI in service design, and generating local data to facilitate implementation.
