AnnotationThe Department of Health (DH) conducted this "Consultation on core principles for everyone providing care to NHS patients" in early 2007. Age Concern England (ACE) supports the idea of setting out core principles which will apply to all NHS patients irrespective of provider. ACE has proposals for how the principles could usefully be developed; has suggestions for how they might be applied; and wishes to highlight the need for information to patients and the public about the existence of the principles and how they may be used.
