Annotation | The Department of Health (DH) has consulted on patient travel service (PTS) guidance. It is intended that from April 2007 the range of health facilities covered by non-emergency transport services will be widened. It is also expected that primary care trusts (PCTs) will take over commissioning of patient transport services. Age Concern England (ACE) responds calling for more transparency regarding eligibility for and less confusion about services across PCTs. (RH). |
