CEBSS did research in the field focused on aspects of older peoples' lives and these newsletters contain news of such developments in areas such as discharge from hospital; single assessment process; user involvement. This Centre closed in October 2004. In 2005 Cebss will leave the University of Exeter and become a sister organisation to Research in Practice which is part of the Dartington Hall Trust, a charity based in Devon.
