Annotation | In 2000, the National Assembly for Wales published its 'In safe hands' guidance on adult protection, equivalent to its English counterpart, 'No Secrets'. 'In safe hands' includes exemplars from some local authorities for others to follow, and this short paper notes those concerning financial protection. It also outlines the work of the advisory group established by the Welsh Assembly Government to monitor implementation progress, and to identify possible weaknesses in the guidance. (RH). |
