AnnotationLaunched in Spring 2000, "No Secrets", the government's latest adult protection guidance is expected to have a major impact on all agencies involved and interested in adult abuse. The author presents imagined correspondence from "George Hope" a LOMAC (local officer and multi-agency co-ordinator), in the form of an e-mail to his mother, and memos and a report to the Assistant Director, Social Services. "George" points out what "No Secrets" will involve for those charged with its implementation in local areas, while providing a range of useful insights and hints. (RH).
