Annotation | Adults can be abused by other clients who are utilising the same care services, a finding arising from the management and provision of adult. protection in the London Borough of Lewisham. The article describes how this particular problem could be managed in a variety of service settings. It is also argued that this particular form of abuse has itself been marginalised in work with vulnerable adults. The paper ends with a series of pertinent ethical, legal, procedural and operational issues that service providers need to consider. (RH) |
