Annotation | This bulletin summarises findings from a research project on inter-agency collaboration funded by the Department of Health (DH). The study examined whether the framework of strengthened incentives and clearer responsibilities for joint working set out in the 1989 "Caring for people" White Paper is, in fact, facilitating collaboration. It also explored whether it is enabling the development of integrated health and social care services focused on the needs of individual users and carers. Results are outlined, looking first at the study's background and context, and then a cross-case analysis of the sub-studies. (RH). |
