Annotation | Why can domiciliary care in some areas be free of charge and easily accessible, while in others, it is costly and restricted? The author investigates changes to charging regimes. While charges have been raised in Lambeth and Cumbria, and there is consultation on raising charges in Cardiff, the Isle of Wight is not charging those aged 80+ for their home care needs. (RH). |
