AnnotationThe first National Gerontological Social Work Conference (NGSWC) was held in Atlanta, Georgia in 2003, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). This second of two parts comprises 12 articles resulting from presentations at the Conference. Themes covered include religiousness and spirituality, grief counselling, mental health services, "ageing enrichment", grandparents in kinship care, and minority ethnic groups. Education is the overarching theme; and the last article considers enhancing social workers' culturally competent ageing-related knowledge. Together with Part I (Journal of Gerontological Social Work, vol 48, nos 1/2), this collection has been co-published as a monograph (same title) by the Haworth Press. (RH).
