AnnotationIn 2003, the Community Legal Services Team at the Legal Services Commission (West Midlands) submitted a bid to Zurich Financial Services Older People's Programme to undertake a 3-year project. OAK (Older people Advice Knowledge base) aimed to help isolated older people living in rural areas of the West Midlands, specifically to improve their access to social welfare advice and information. The project ran in Shropshire, Warwickshire, Solihull, North Staffordshire and Wyre Forest, Worcestershire. This is a summary of the evaluation undertaken at the end of the project on issues of access and the client/worker relationship. (RH).
