Annotation | The health and social care White Paper, "Our health, our care, our say" (Cm 6737) published a year ago set out a vision of personalised, overlapping services, in which service users would have greater influence. The author of this article investigates whether the examples of good practice cited in the White Paper match the ambition, by asking service managers for their verdicts. The examples are: Knowsley Council's community older person team's well-being service; Camden Primary Care Trust's sexual health clinic; Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust; and the Expert Patient Programme (EPP). (RH). |
