Annotation | This news bulletin was published to help publicise the Voices from the Home Front project, which was part of the NPC's contribution to the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War (WWII). This was a joint project led by Dave Welsh, involving the TUC and London Metropolitan University which ran during 2004/2005. The project's main aim was to collect and record memories of and reflections on what it was like at work during WWII, with a focus on trade union membership. (KJ). |
