AnnotationThe forthcoming Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) is likely to set the government's priorities and direction of policy for the next ten years. In this document, Age Concern England (ACE) sets out eight challenges for policy on ageing and older people: older people's income (UK); preventative services (England); long-term care (England); equality in health care (England); fuel poverty, housing conditions and winter health (England); learning and skills (England); informed choices (Great Britain); and local services (UK). This submission also comments on progress of the review; sets out proposals for public spending in the eight key areas; and makes recommendations for the future of of Public Service Agreement targets.
