AnnotationVisual hallucinations occur in a number of ophthalmological, medical and neuropsychiatric disorders. Charles Bonnet syndrome is less frequently diagnosed but is a rather common cause of visual hallucinations in older adults. In this article, the authors review the history and discuss the assessment and management of this condition.
