Annotation | The Department for Constitutional Affairs (DCA) has consulted on the forms and guidance it plans to issue when the Mental Capacity Act 2005 comes into force in April 2007. Age Concern England (ACE) is of the view that there should be two separate forms for the two different lasting powers of attorney (LPA) and that they should be called Finance and Property LPA, and Health and personal welfare LPA. ACE makes a range of recommendations with regard to this point, also on matters to do with clarity of the forms and guidance. A full version of the response is available on ACE's website. (RH). |
