Annotation | This special edition of Critical Social Policy coincides with a growing interest in devolution and the ways in which it relates to a broad range of social policy issues. There are seven articles including an introduction, "Rethinking social policy through devolution", by Gerry Mooney, Gill Scott and Charlotte Williams. The articles cover social policy developments in criminal justice, health, education, employment, and equality, in the devolved governments of Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Five further articles on other devolution issues (including the voluntary sector) are presented as commentaries. (KJ/RH). |
