AnnotationThe ageing of the population affects every aspect of life in the UK, and is particularly true when planning for housing. This report sets out the key issues facing all those involved in planning the housing supply, and in planning for communities, for an ageing Britain in the next ten years or so. It is intended for use primarily by planners, commissioners and housing providers - and by older people, whose housing needs are considered. The report concludes with a summary and checklist for action, and suggests websites for further information. The report has been funded though the overall support provided to HOPDEV by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) and the Department of Health (DH). (RH).
