Annotation | Incontinence and falls are both common in older patients and account for many hospital admissions. Patients who need frequent toileting are at risk of falling. The authors suggest that while there appears to be evidence to support an association between continence and falls, this relationship has hardly been studied, so there are still a number of unanswered questions.
