AnnotationIn this study at the University of Warwick's Department of Psychology, the performances of 8 younger (age 18-37) and 8 older (age 71-83) participants were compared in a masked priming task with stimulus presentation conditions adjusted to account for possible impaired visual acuity and slower responses in older participants. The findings reported indicate an age-related impairment in low-level motor control. (RH).
