AnnotationThis Royal College of Nursing (RCN) nursing older people strategy has been developed in partnership with older people from the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) and Better Government for Older People (BGOP), as well as other external stakeholders. The document's purpose is to provide a strategic direction to underpin the work of the RCN, and to influence the professional practice of its members who are involved in meeting the needs of older people. The responsibility for reviewing this strategy will rest with both of the RCN Forums. A review will take place in January 2005 when a progress report will be produced. (KJ/RH).
