Annotation | IFF Research Ltd was commissioned by the Age Partnership Group (APG) and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), as part of a National Guidance Campaign, to undertake a series of case studies drawn from the Age Positive champion employers. This summary of the main report draws on the experiences of 31 employers drawn from the Age Positive Employer Champions, companies who support Age Positive, the DWP campaign to end age discrimination. It outlines recommendations from these employers on six key personnel areas: recruitment; selection; promotion and progression; training and development; redundancy; and retirement. Also outlined are the business benefits of taking and age positive approach, and overcoming challenges in implementing age positive policies. (RH). |
