Annotation | Tameside Citizens' Advice Bureau in Greater Manchester has established a one-stop shop known as "ChoicE", whereby older people and vulnerable adults and their relatives can find out about providers of residential care and sheltered accommodation in their area, and which have vacancies. The author reports on how the scheme operates, an important element of which is an advocacy service, which has helped with access to other services such as dentistry. (RH). |
