Annotation | Dignity and Older Europeans is a 3-year project (2001-2004) which was funded by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework (Quality of Life) Programme and coordinated by the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Cardiff University, in Wales. The main objective of this study was to explore how older people in Sweden view human dignity in their lives, taking account of how this might be affected by factors such as age, social and economic aspects, health and illness.
