| Annotation | The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Taylor Nelson Sofres carried out a telephone survey among working and retired people in February 2003. The sample included full-time and part-time workers and those who had already retired. In all, 999 interviews were completed. The objective of the survey was to research attitudes towards working and retirement in the UK, to understand what provision people were making, and their general attitude towards their retirement. This report presents key findings; and for each question asked, the results are tabulated (noting the number of respondents) and accompanied by short annotations. (RH). |
