Annotation | 20/20 is a project set up by a number of national older people's housing stakeholders who have joined forces to examine the future of older people's housing and care. This is especially important because of the rate of demographic change, with an anticipated increase in older people when in 2020, the number will begin to peak as a proportion of the general population. This consultation paper launches the Project and a number of activities throughout 2005. The consultation paper asks for views on a number of key areas that need to be examined more closely: extra care housing; design standards; support services; diversity and equality issues; telecare; the sheltered housing workforce; and the market place.
