Annotation | In many countries, palliative care for older people is not provided in the most appropriate way that would be possible. EURAG draws on evidence regarding such shortcomings to put the case for making palliative care a priority topic on the European Health Agenda, and ultimately obtain a Council Decision of the European Union (EU). This document includes summaries of recommendations on palliative care by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Council of Europe. (RH). |
