AnnotationLegislation in 2006 will make age discrimination in employment and vocational training and guidance illegal, and is also likely to make mandatory retirement ages unlawful without good justification. NIACE and CROW review activity in the 9 Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) in England in promoting age diversity in employment. Their report includes a literature review of regional plans, as well as findings on RDAs' awareness of age diversity issues. (RH).
