Annotation | Conference launch of this campaign hosted by UNiFI, which has headed up this campaign and sponsored by Kerry Pollard, Labour MP for St Albans, Herts. The campaign calls for the abolition of integrated pensions (clawback) and was signed by 131 MPs. Clawback is the practice whereby an employer deducts an amount equating to as much as the state pension received by a retired member of staff and this affects around 2.5 million pensions. UNiFI has now merged with Amicus after some success with this campaign. (KJ). |
