Annotation | Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the NHS is more widespread than people realise, and doctors are becoming interested in access through primary care. This executive summary of the main report outlines the key elements of clinical governance (CG) dealt with in the main report. Appendices cover: strategic considerations, such as the potential for CAM to address key aspects of the NHS modernisation agenda; developing guidance and toolkits; research and mapping CAM; and key recommendations.
