AnnotationThe social and policy implications of lesbian, gay and bisexual ageing were investigated in a study exploring the experiences of 266 self-identified lesbians, gay men and bisexuals aged between 50 and 80+. A mixed-method approach was adopted, combining a questionnaire, group discussions and individual interviews. The fieldwork for this study took place between June 2001 and September 2002. This report outlines the results relating to subjects' life circumstances, and the policy and practice issues arising. Appendices comprise a list of questionnaire themes, and bar charts illustrating responses to themes and questions examined. (RH).
