Annotation | Do doctors working in emergency care setting have the time or inclination to undertake a structured social assessment of older patients? This study suggests they are willing but that pressure on doctors' time may constrain the implementation of such a framework. This article sets out the aims and objectives, and the four stages of the research design. The limitations, findings and post-study evaluation interviews are discussed, which highlight the constraints of assessing people in Accident & Emergency (A&E). (RH). |
