| Annotation | The scheme changed from orange to blue badges from 1st April 2000 to comply with the European-wide standard, and thereby aid recognition and acceptance throughout the European community. Blue badge statistics are now incorporated as part of the publication "A Bulletin of Public Transport Statistics GB" (annual) to be found on the Department for Transport website and are not published separately any longer. The annual statistical data can however be downloaded as a separate file in pdf format. This data made available from the returns of local authorities are available in electronic format from the 2004 edition of the Bulletin. (KJ). |
