Annotation | Pension credit has now been in operation for more than a year, and has helped many people aed 60+. However, there are still aspects of the system that are unpopular and cause complications for claimants, notably that it is means-tested. The author notes that the recent interim report by the Pensions Commission has not been uncritical of the scheme. (RH). |
