| Annotation | These three informal newssheets promote the activities and contacts of the Home Office Older Volunteers Initiative (HOOVI) begun in January 1999 which provided £1.476 million funding to 26 projects aimed at improving the number and quality of opportunities for over 50s to volunteer and involve themselves in the community.
