Annotation | At a conference held by the Better Regulation Task Force in February 2003, one of the main themes to emerge was that people who use social care services should be the ultimate arbiters of what is right for them. This report is published ahead of an anticipated Green Paper on social care, and makes recommendations that will encourage and facilitate effective participation in regulation. It lists the principles for service user and carer participation developed by the Joint Participation Steering Group. (RH). |
