Annotation | Some of the findings collected from the Housing for an Ageing Population (HAPPI) survey being undertaken at the Centre for Social Policy Research and Development (CSPRD), University of Wales Bangor (UWB) are described. The article's focus is the role of psychological resources - in particular "environmental mastery" - in contributing to subjective well-being (life satisfaction) in a sample of community-dwelling older people. This research was funded by the Wales Office of Research and Development for Social Care, and was developed in partnership with Gwynedd Rural Ageing Network. (RH). |
