Annotation | This case study indicates the scope for new technologies in improving the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers. The authors look at how one family has used interactive computer technologies to deal with the problem of the person with dementia telephoning during the night, either for reassurance or because of not knowing what time it is. The authors are members of the Bradford Dementia Group, and their work is firmly grounded in the principles of person-centred care and the need to find solutions that fit the preferences of the person with dementia.
