| Annotation | Marie Barnes won the NT Award 2004 for Nursing Older People, through her work to set up a network of older people's champions in response to the NSF for Older People's requirement that every trust is to identify a member of staff to champion services for older patients. Ms Barnes set up an entire network of such champions, which currently totals 85 people across the St Helens and Knowsley Hospitals Trust, Merseyside. (KJ/RH). |
