Annotation | The authors describe results from a collaborative piece of research (Housing for an Ageing Population: Planning Implications - HAPPI), funded by Wales Office of Research and Development for Health and Social Care, developed in partnership with Gwynedd Rural Ageing Network and undertaken at the University of Wales, Bangor. The study's qualitative data backs previous evidence, which suggests that older people are rarely willing to consider moving from their homes, and has reinforced other findings that present evidence of older people's desire to remain in their own homes.
